Baboomin Limited Warranty Policy
At Baboomin, every instrument is carefully built, inspected, set up, and packed before shipment. We stand behind the quality of our instruments and provide a limited warranty against verified defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Please read this policy carefully before submitting a warranty claim.
1. Warranty Period
Baboomin instruments purchased directly through Baboomin.com are covered by a 2-year limited warranty from the original delivery date.
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Products not purchased through Baboomin.com are not covered by this official Baboomin limited warranty policy. Customers should contact the original purchase channel for after-sales service, warranty handling, returns, exchanges, and local service.
2. Who Is Covered
This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser of an eligible instrument purchased through Baboomin.com.
Second-hand owners, later owners, or owners who did not purchase the instrument directly through Baboomin.com are not covered by this official limited warranty.
Proof of purchase may be required before any warranty service is approved.
3. Eligible Purchase Channel
This limited warranty applies only to products purchased directly through Baboomin.com.
If the product was not purchased through Baboomin.com, Baboomin does not directly provide this official limited warranty. The customer should first contact the original purchase channel for after-sales and warranty support.
Baboomin may provide technical advice or paid service support where appropriate, but Baboomin does not directly assume responsibility for refunds, returns, exchanges, shipping costs, taxes, duties, import charges, or local repair costs for non-website orders.
4. What Is Covered
This limited warranty covers verified defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, including:

Structural defects in the neck or body

Manufacturing defects in Baboomin-installed electronics

Manufacturing defects in Baboomin-installed pickups, preamp, bridge, hardware, wiring, or other original components

Serious finish or assembly defects confirmed to have existed before delivery

Other verified manufacturing defects confirmed by Baboomin
Baboomin will determine the appropriate solution at its sole discretion, which may include troubleshooting, repair guidance, replacement parts, local service support, repair, partial compensation, exchange, replacement instrument, or another reasonable solution.
5. What Is Not Covered
This limited warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Strings, batteries, knobs, screws, tools, gig bags, cases, and other consumables or accessories

Fret wear caused by normal playing
-
Finish aging, small scratches, dents, checking, fading, oxidation, or normal cosmetic wear
-
Natural wood movement, grain variation, color variation, veneer variation, or weight variation
-
Hardware corrosion caused by sweat, humidity, salt air, moisture, poor storage, or lack of maintenance
-
Damage caused by accident, impact, dropping, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper storage, or improper maintenance
-
Damage caused by extreme temperature, humidity, dryness, rapid climate changes, or direct sunlight
-
Damage caused by unauthorized repair, modification, rewiring, pickup replacement, routing, sanding, refinishing, drilling, or third-party parts
-
Damage caused by incorrect setup, over-adjustment, improper truss rod use, or unqualified service
-
Issues caused by incompatible strings, tunings, gauges, accessories, stands, straps, cases, or other third-party products
-
Shipping damage not reported within the required claim period
-
Instruments used for rental, institutional, commercial, or unusually heavy use unless agreed in writing

Products not purchased directly through Baboomin.com
6. Setup, Climate, and Transport Adjustment
A bass is a wooden musical instrument and may react to transportation, temperature, humidity, string tension, and local climate.
Changes in neck relief, string action, intonation, pickup height, fret buzz, tuning stability, string tension feel, or setup after shipping are usually considered normal adjustment issues and are not automatically considered manufacturing defects.
Customers are responsible for regular setup and maintenance, including but not limited to:

Intonation adjustment

Pickup height adjustment

Cleaning
-
String replacement
-
Humidity control
-
Safe storage
If a setup issue appears unusual, Baboomin may request photos, videos, measurements, and/or a local technician’s inspection report before making a warranty decision.
7. Shipping Damage
Shipping damage is not treated as a standard warranty issue.
If the instrument or package appears damaged upon delivery, the customer must contact Baboomin within 7 days of delivery and provide:

Clear photos of the outer shipping box

Clear photos of all packaging materials

Clear photos or videos of the damaged area

A written description of the issue

Any carrier damage report, if available
Customers must keep all original packaging materials until the case is resolved.
Shipping damage reported after 7 days, or without sufficient packaging evidence, may not qualify as a shipping damage claim.
8. Warranty Claim Process

Baboomin will not approve a warranty repair, replacement, refund, replacement part, or other solution before reviewing the required evidence.
9. Diagnosis and Decision
Baboomin will review the evidence provided and determine whether the issue is covered under this limited warranty.
Baboomin may ask the customer to perform basic troubleshooting, provide additional photos or videos, take measurements, visit a qualified local technician, or provide an inspection report before a decision is made.
Warranty coverage and the appropriate solution will be determined by Baboomin at its sole discretion.
10. Warranty Solutions
If Baboomin confirms that an issue is covered under this limited warranty, Baboomin may provide one or more of the following solutions:

Local service support
-
Repair reimbursement approved in advance

Repair by Baboomin or an approved service partner

Baboomin will choose the solution based on the nature of the issue, customer location, product availability, shipping feasibility, repair feasibility, and the overall circumstances of the case.
11. Local Repair and Service
For eligible Baboomin.com orders, Baboomin may approve local repair or setup support when it is more practical than returning the instrument internationally.
Any local repair, service, or technician fee must be approved by Baboomin in writing before the work is performed. Baboomin is not responsible for unauthorized repair costs, unapproved service fees, or damage caused by third-party service.
If the customer chooses to use a local technician without Baboomin’s written approval, any resulting cost, damage, or additional issue will be the customer’s responsibility.
12. Shipping Costs for Warranty Service
Warranty shipping responsibility will depend on the case, customer location, and the confirmed nature of the issue.
If the issue is caused by a verified manufacturing defect on an eligible Baboomin.com order, Baboomin may cover reasonable shipping, parts, or repair costs approved in writing.
If the issue is caused by setup, climate, transport adjustment, misuse, unauthorized modification, third-party service, normal wear, or any non-warranty cause, the customer may be responsible for all related shipping, repair, parts, customs, duties, taxes, and logistics costs.
For international warranty cases, Baboomin may offer replacement parts, local service support, or other practical solutions instead of international return shipping.
13. Replacement Parts and Warranty Period
Replacement parts, repairs, or replacement instruments provided under warranty do not restart, extend, or renew the original warranty period.
The warranty period remains tied to the original delivery date of the original instrument.
14. Non-Baboomin.com Purchases
Products not purchased directly through Baboomin.com are not covered by this official Baboomin limited warranty policy.
Customers should contact the original purchase channel for after-sales service, warranty handling, returns, exchanges, and local service.
Baboomin may provide technical advice or paid service support where appropriate, but Baboomin does not directly process or guarantee refunds, returns, exchanges, shipping costs, taxes, duties, import charges, or local repair costs for non-website orders.
15. Unauthorized Sellers and Second-Hand Purchases
Baboomin cannot guarantee the authenticity, condition, modification history, service history, or warranty eligibility of instruments purchased from unauthorized sellers, private resellers, marketplace listings, auction sites, or second-hand platforms.
Second-hand owners may contact Baboomin for troubleshooting, paid service, replacement parts, or repair guidance where available, but the full limited warranty is not transferable.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Baboomin is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost income, lost performance opportunities, recording costs, touring costs, rental costs, repair costs not approved in advance, or other related losses.
Baboomin’s responsibility under this limited warranty is limited to the remedies described in this policy.
17. Mandatory Consumer Rights
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
