Baboomin Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Baboomin, every instrument is carefully inspected, set up, and packed before shipment. Because our basses are high-value musical instruments shipped internationally, please read the following shipping terms carefully before placing your order.
  1. Shipping Regions

Baboomin ships to many countries and regions worldwide, including most major markets in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, and other commonly served regions.
Shipping availability may vary depending on the customer’s country, city, postal code, address remoteness, carrier service area, local import rules, customs restrictions, and current logistics conditions.
If the customer’s country, region, or specific delivery address cannot be served normally by our logistics partners, or requires special shipping arrangements, Baboomin will contact the customer before shipment to confirm available options.
In some cases, Baboomin may be unable to complete delivery, or may only be able to proceed if the customer agrees to pay additional shipping fees, provides an alternative deliverable address, or accepts another available shipping arrangement.
If no reasonable delivery solution is available, Baboomin reserves the right to cancel the order before shipment and refund the amount paid.
  1. Shipping Cost

For most bass orders placed directly through Baboomin.com, Baboomin offers free international shipping.
Free shipping generally applies to most major markets and standard delivery areas, including but not limited to:
  • Major regions in North America
  • Major regions in Europe
  • Major regions in Southeast Asia
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Other major cities and areas normally served by our logistics partners
However, because international shipping costs for large musical instruments may vary depending on the customer’s country, city, postal code, address remoteness, carrier service area, package size, customs route, and current logistics conditions, free shipping shown at checkout does not guarantee that every delivery address is eligible for free shipping.
For remote areas, islands, mountain regions, limited-service areas, special destinations, or orders requiring special logistics arrangements, additional shipping fees, remote area surcharges, or special handling fees may apply.
If additional shipping fees are required for the customer’s delivery address, Baboomin will contact the customer before shipment. The customer may choose to:
  1. Pay the additional shipping fee;
  2. Provide an alternative delivery address that can be served under standard shipping conditions;
  3. Cancel the order before shipment and receive a refund.
If the customer does not accept the additional shipping fee and cannot provide an alternative deliverable address, Baboomin reserves the right to cancel the order before shipment and refund the amount paid.
Accessories, replacement parts, repair parts, special parts, separately shipped components, and non-bass orders may not qualify for free bass shipping. Shipping costs for these items will be confirmed based on the actual delivery address and shipping method.
  1. Duties, Taxes, VAT, and Import Fees

For most major markets and standard delivery areas, Baboomin aims to offer a final price experience. This means that if the order page, invoice, or written order confirmation clearly states “duties and taxes included,” the price paid by the customer usually includes international shipping, import duties, VAT/import taxes, and related customs clearance charges. In such cases, the customer usually will not need to pay additional import duties or taxes upon delivery.
In most cases, Baboomin may be able to provide duties-and-taxes-included shipping solutions for major markets in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, and other commonly served regions. However, whether duties and taxes can be included depends on the customer’s country, city, postal code, address remoteness, carrier service area, local customs rules, product declaration requirements, and the available logistics solution at the time of shipment.
For certain countries or regions where import rules are strict, customs clearance requirements are complex, taxes cannot be reliably estimated, or duties and taxes cannot be prepaid by Baboomin, Baboomin may not be able to provide duties-and-taxes-included shipping. In these cases, the order may be shipped by regular international courier or another available shipping method, and the customer will be responsible for any import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, local taxes, carrier advancement fees, or other import-related charges collected by the destination country or carrier.
If duties-and-taxes-included shipping is not available for an order, or if additional import-related charges may apply, Baboomin will confirm the available shipping option based on the customer’s delivery address before shipment. The customer may choose to proceed with the shipment, provide an alternative deliverable address, or cancel the order before shipment and receive a refund.
If the product page, checkout page, invoice, or written order confirmation does not clearly state “duties and taxes included,” the customer should assume that import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, local taxes, or other import-related charges may apply upon import or delivery and are the customer’s responsibility.
The customer is responsible for cooperating with local customs clearance, including but not limited to providing personal information, tax ID, identification documents, import documents, proof of payment, or any other information required by customs or the carrier.
If the customer refuses to pay import charges, fails to provide customs information in time, provides incorrect information, or if customs clearance fails due to local import restrictions, the customer is responsible for any delays, storage fees, return shipping costs, penalties, abandonment, disposal, additional delivery fees, or other losses.
  1. Order Processing Time

Order processing time refers to the time required to confirm payment, prepare documents, complete final inspection, perform setup, pack the instrument, and hand the shipment to the carrier.
For in-stock instruments, processing usually takes 3–7 business days before dispatch.
For pre-order, made-to-order, Custom Shop, artist collaboration, dealer, or special configuration orders, processing time may vary according to production schedule, final inspection, setup, packaging, balance payment, holidays, and quality control requirements.
Processing time does not include international transit time or customs clearance time.
  1. Estimated Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time refers to the transit time after the package has been shipped.
Most international shipments take approximately 10–25 business days after dispatch, depending on destination country, carrier route, customs clearance, local delivery conditions, weather, holidays, and regional logistics conditions.
Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed in writing by Baboomin.
Baboomin is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspection, carrier delays, weather, holidays, local delivery issues, force majeure events, incorrect shipping information, or other circumstances outside our direct control.
  1. Tracking Information

Once your order has been shipped, Baboomin will provide tracking information by email or message where available.
Tracking updates may take several days to appear, especially during international transit, customs clearance, or carrier handover between countries.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and responding to carrier delivery or customs requests in a timely manner.
  1. Shipping Address and Contact Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, phone number, email address, and recipient name.
Baboomin is not responsible for failed delivery, delays, address correction fees, return shipping costs, package loss, storage fees, or customs issues caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable shipping information provided by the customer.
If a package is returned to Baboomin due to incorrect address, failed delivery, refusal to pay import fees, unclaimed shipment, or failure to cooperate with customs clearance, the customer may be responsible for original shipping costs, return shipping costs, customs fees, storage fees, and any reshipment costs.
  1. Delivery Inspection

Please inspect the outer box and the instrument immediately upon delivery.
If there is visible damage to the outer box, please take photos before opening the package.
If possible, note any visible damage with the carrier before signing for delivery.
After opening the package, please inspect the instrument, accessories, and packaging materials carefully.
  1. Shipping Damage

Shipping damage must be reported to Baboomin within 7 days of delivery.
To submit a shipping damage claim, the customer must provide:
  • Order number
  • Tracking number
  • Clear photos of the outer shipping box
  • Clear photos of all packaging materials
  • Clear photos or videos of the damaged area
  • A written description of the issue
  • Delivery date
  • Any carrier damage report, if available
Customers must keep all original packaging materials, including the outer box, inner protection materials, documents, and accessories, until the claim is resolved.
Failure to report shipping damage within 7 days or failure to keep the original packaging may limit Baboomin’s ability to file a carrier claim or provide a replacement solution.
Shipping damage reported after 7 days may not be treated as a shipping damage claim.
  1. Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

If tracking shows that a package has been delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should first check with the carrier, household members, building management, reception desk, neighbors, local delivery office, or customs office.
Baboomin will assist where possible, but we are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided by the customer.
For high-value shipments, signature confirmation or additional delivery instructions may be required depending on the carrier and destination.
  1. Third-Party Forwarders, Temporary Addresses, and Self-Arranged Shipping

If the customer chooses to ship to a third-party freight forwarder, forwarding warehouse, hotel, friend’s address, studio, event venue, temporary address, or any self-arranged shipping destination, Baboomin’s responsibility ends once the package is delivered to the address provided by the customer.
Baboomin is not responsible for loss, damage, customs issues, failed delivery, delays, additional fees, or mishandling that occurs after delivery to the customer’s designated address or third-party forwarder.
  1. Dealer Purchases

If you purchased your Baboomin instrument from an authorized Baboomin dealer, please contact the original dealer for shipping, delivery, return, exchange, or local service questions.
Dealer purchases are subject to the dealer’s own shipping and delivery policy.
Baboomin may provide technical support or warranty assistance where appropriate, but Baboomin does not directly refund shipping fees, import charges, taxes, or shipping-related charges for orders purchased through dealers.
  1. Pre-order, Custom Shop, and Made-to-Order Shipments

For pre-order, Custom Shop, made-to-order, or special configuration instruments, shipping will take place only after the instrument has completed production, final inspection, setup, packaging, and any required balance payment.
Estimated production and shipping timelines are provided for reference only. Baboomin prioritizes final quality control over rushing shipment.
Delays in production, quality control, finishing, parts supply, holidays, customs, or logistics do not automatically qualify for cancellation, refund, or compensation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  1. Refused Delivery or Unclaimed Packages

If a customer refuses delivery, fails to pay required import charges, fails to provide customs information, or does not collect the package within the carrier’s required time, the package may be returned, delayed, abandoned, or destroyed by the carrier or customs authority.
In such cases, the customer may be responsible for original shipping costs, return shipping costs, customs fees, storage fees, carrier handling fees, and any additional costs incurred.
Refunds, if applicable, will only be considered after the package is safely returned to Baboomin and inspected.
  1. Packaging

Baboomin instruments are packed with protective materials designed for international transportation.
Please keep the original packaging for at least 14 days after delivery, especially if you may need to report shipping damage, return the product, or request service.
For returns or repairs, instruments must be packed safely. Baboomin is not responsible for damage caused by improper return packaging arranged by the customer.
